Govind Chandra Dash, Chairman

Mr. Dash, is a Master in Social Work (MSW) from the Asian Institute of Social Science, Berhampur. After having working experience from Gram Vikas, he founded the NGO Gram Utthan in the year 1990 along with few likeminded persons. 
Under his able leadership and Management, the Organization has achieved several milestones and has created a niche position for itself in the NGO sector by continuously working for the development of the downtrodden people of Orissa. He successfully implemented Credit and Savings for Household Enterprise program of CARE-India (one of the largest financial inclusion program of DFID in South Asia). With the support of ICICI Bank, Central Bank, Axis Bank other banks the financial inclusion program of Gram Utthan has reached to a new height. He started first Housing loan services to rural households in scale in Odisha in collaboration with Swarna Pragati a housing NBFC. He was one of the associates of Rashtriya Mahila Kosh and National Minority Development Financial Corporation to improve Financial Inclusion in Odisha. He was doing capacity assessment of NGOs to avail financial assistance to increase loan portfolio and outreach of vulnerable people in the state through RMK and NMDFC.  He is one of the Project Advisory Committee members of UPNRM project of NABARD in Odisha.  His sincere efforts and attitude for relentlessly working for the economic upliftment of the poor people has been recognized by all the organizations and associations associated with Financial Inclusion sector.
Mr. Sashibhusan Dash , Managing Director

Mr. Dash, banking professional with 27 years of key leadership experience in the diverse operational and planning functions in progressively challenging positions in India, Japan and Germany. He has also worked with the State Bank of India, with international exposure to his credit. He has been an alumnus of Narsee Munjee Institute of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Bankers and the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He also possesses expertise in developing and leading operational processes and functions including retail banking, international trade, forex, credit delivery, treasury operations, compliance, risk and rural banking. His specialties include treasury management, risk management, leadership role in banking operations, International Banking and business process reengineering. 
Prasad Kuchibatla, Independent Director
Mr. Kuchibatla has 33 Years of Experience with Reserve Bank of India in various capacities after joining as Junior Officer in 1972 of which 12 (twelve) years direct experience in the areas of Supervision and Examination of Non - Banking Financial Institutions & Banks including the Developmental Financial Institutions. Before joining RBI, he functioned as Senior Breeder with USAID and Rockefeller Foundations in developing disease resistant and high yielding Rice Varieties at Hyderabad with All India Coordinated Rice Improvement Project for more than four years. He has been serving as an independent director on the board of several established NBFC-MFIs as well as other category of NBFCs.
Sanjukta Raiguru , Independent Director

A senior executive and board member with 35 years cross-functional experience in the areas of Retail Banking (personal and SME), Banking Operations, Learning and Development and Corporate Social Responsibility. Sanjukta has held several leadership positions and important assignments within the State Bank of India with a successful track record of driving growth and positioning new products and launching new initiatives. She brings extensive experience as a subject matter expert in Retail, Marketing, Behavioural Science, Leadership Development and CSR. She has a deep interest in reaching out to the needy with compassion.

Mr. Gobinda Chandra Nayak ,Director

Mr. Nayak is a Post Graduate & LLB. He was practicing as an Advocate in the Orissa High Court, Orissa before joining Gram Utthan Board.  Since his association with Gram Utthan in the year 1996, he is actively providing guidance and support for various legal issues of the organization. He has been instrumental in the policy formulation for effective credit delivery of the Microfinance Programme. Through his long association to the Microfinance sector, he has gained a lot of experience in management of Microfinance program in scale. He is one of the Promoters of the company.
